The Concourse Project
About the Venue

The Concourse Project is a warehouse venue near the south terminal of Austin-Bergstrom Airport that has become one of the most important dance music destinations in the country. It opened in September 2021, launched by husband-and-wife team Andrew Parsons and Kelly Gray, who had been building Austin's electronic scene through their RealMusic Events operation since 2009. The venue is a converted industrial warehouse on Burleson Road with a modular layout that includes a large main floor, an upstairs mezzanine, an outdoor patio, and an adjacent field. The production is what sets it apart. World-class lighting, sound systems designed specifically for electronic music, and visual effects that rival anything you would find in Ibiza or Berlin. The Concourse was ranked the number five club in the country and number twenty-eight in the world, which is remarkable for a city better known for guitars than turntables. The booking brings in top-tier international DJs and producers across house, techno, and the broader dance music spectrum. The venue also hosts Seismic Dance Event, a multi-day festival that has become a destination event for electronic music fans nationally. Getting there requires a rideshare or a drive south past the airport, which gives the whole thing a destination feel. Once you are inside, the warehouse transforms into something that feels genuinely world-class. The Concourse Project is proof that Austin's music identity is broader and deeper than the live music capital tagline suggests.
